Curcumin (Turmeric)

Curcumin is the active ingredient in the spice turmeric, the bright yellow seasoning used to make curries in Asian cooking, and it has been used medicinally for centuries. It is one of the fastest growing supplement categories today.

There are thousands of clinical studies showing that it has the ability to fight bacteria, viruses, cancer, depression, inflammation and other serious chronic illnesses.

Curcumin supports healthy aging, improves heart health, eases arthritis pain and combats dangerous free radicals (the rogue molecules that damage your health).

Some brain conditions may also be helped by curcumin. One animal study found that it actually stimulated the growth of new nerve cells in the brain, reversing learning and memory problems.

Curcumin and Mental Health

What if there’s a “cure” for depression? Not another Big Pharma, medication-for-life antidepressant with wicked side effects—but a natural, safe, plant-based cure, as in “no more depression—it’s over, here’s your life back—go and enjoy.” Rocking the bedrock It is largely accepted that depression is caused by an imbalance of chemicals, particularly serotonin and norepinephrine, in […]

Golden Milk

My favorite anti-inflammatory supplement, curcumin, is derived from the beautiful yellow spice turmeric. It’s difficult to get a clinically significant dose of curcumin by having the occasional curry for dinner, but adding turmeric to your daily routine in the form of this delicious golden milk won’t hurt anyone and helps soothe and relax you for […]

Curcumin, HPV, and Oral Cancer

A few months ago, a young lady came to me near tears. In her early 20s, Wendy came to get a second opinion. Her previous doctor wanted to cut out her tongue. She was hoping I could save it. You see, she had tongue cancer. It hit her very young—but for a good reason. She […]
